Our client is an established Melbourne brokerage writing car, truck, equipment and business finance for clients right across Australia. The leads come to them. What they need is a broker who can pick up a qualified enquiry and turn it into a settled deal, quickly and cleanly, without the drama.

The business runs a steady flow of inbound, qualified enquiries from people who already want finance. Your job is to convert them, not to cold-call them. Behind you sits a dedicated processing and admin function that handles the paperwork, so your day is spent structuring deals and talking to clients rather than buried in submissions.
It is a small, established team where the people who run the business are the people you deal with day to day. Decisions get made in hours, not weeks.
What you will be doing
Taking warm, inbound enquiries and guiding clients from first call through to settlement
Structuring consumer and commercial finance across vehicles, trucks, equipment and business lending
Matching each client to the right lender from a panel of 50-plus financiers
Keeping deals moving and clients updated, with fast approvals and a clean process
Working alongside the processing team to get applications submitted and settled without bottlenecks
Building repeat and referral business off the back of clients who had a genuinely good experience
About you
You have written asset or vehicle finance before and you know how a deal comes together, from client conversation to lender submission to settlement. You can hold a pipeline of live enquiries and keep every one of them moving.
Beyond the technical side, you are:
Commercially sharp and able to read a client's situation quickly
Genuinely good with people, because most of this is conversation and trust
Organised and accountable, comfortable owning your own numbers
In it for the long run, not the next three months
Relevant accreditation and CRM familiarity are expected. Experience with consumer and commercial lending is a strong advantage.
