Who's actually good at hiring for brokerages.
Ranked lists of the lending recruiters who place mortgage brokers, finance brokers, credit analysts, BDMs and broker support staff in Australia, plus the people running the brokerages and aggregators they place into.
Each one publishes how it's scored, so you can argue with the order.
FinTalent writes these lists and ranks itself first on every recruiter list. That's said here, up front, rather than left for you to find. Every other firm is scored on the same published criteria, the facts about each one come from its own website, and nobody paid to be on a list or can pay to move up one. Nobody from FinTalent appears on the people lists.

Why I wrote them
A principal choosing a recruiter should know who else is worth ringing. A recruiter is a big call for a brokerage, and a bad one costs you a seat for six months.
These lists are my answer. Some firms on these lists are better than us at things we don't do, like running thirty support hires a year or placing BDMs into a major bank. Where that's true, the list says so.
The people lists exist for a different reason. Broking is a small industry run by a few hundred people who built something, and most of them never get written about outside the trade press. Most brokers stay put, with 79% telling MPA's 2025 survey they were extremely unlikely to even switch aggregators, so the businesses that keep attracting good people are usually run by someone worth knowing.
